MTN Nigeria self service portal is a website that is built for all MTN Nigeria network users for their convenience. This simply means that, this is a portal that will be used by their customers for solving problems they encounter pertaining to the network issue, online without talking to the MTN customer’s representative.

This service was introduced in order to reduce the number of people who call their Customer’s Care representative every day.

The MTN Nigeria self service portal is available to all MTN customers for use. However, any of their customers (Prepaid or Postpaid) can use this service for their comfort and convenience. No fees are charged.

How it works

This service is available for MTN Nigeria customers only. If you intend to use the service, you will have your Customer Identity Number along with the security number. These numbers will be required on the portal page.

What is Customer Identity Number?

Customer Identity Number is a number consist of twelve digit numbers. MTN Nigeria used the number to identify their customer easily along with the security code. The security code is a four digit pin number working along with the customer identity number. Note: Customer identity number may be used as future identification

How can I get my Customer Identity Number with the security pin code?

This is very easy to get. Make a call to MTN Nigeria customers’ care hotline. Dial 180 or 181 on your cellphone to speak with their customer representatives, ask for your Customer Identity Number. A twelve digit numbers will be issued to you plus the security pin code. Like this (customer Identity Number 000000123456), (Security Pin 1234).

How can I use my customer Identity number online?

MTN Nigeria has designed a web portal for the conveniences of their customers to solve any problem they encountered on their mobile device online by their self without making a call to any of it customer care hotlines.

This is called web self-service which can be used by the customer as far as they have the customer identity number with the security pin that will grant them access to the portal.

Log on to https//selfservice.mtnonline.com, with your MTN security number for the experience.

After you have log in with your security codes, the portal will grant you the access of these:

·        Access to submit feedback.

·        Access to change your Security key.

·        Access to MTN Nigeria loyalty.

·        Access to retrieve your PUK code.

·        Access to check your account balance.

·        Access to perform SIM Swap.

·        Access to perform call forwarding.

·        Access to Activate 3G Data bundle
